Respiratory Therapist - Registered Respiratory Therapist

Job Details:

• Work day shifts from 5:30 AM to 6:00 PM on rotating schedule
• 13-week assignment duration with 48-hour guarantees
• No call required and no floating required
• 2+ years of experience required
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP, RRT, and New Mexico license
• Auto offers only - no interviews required
• Any color scrubs acceptable
• EMR system: MedHost
• Administer respiratory therapies including oxygen therapy, aerosol treatments, and ventilator management
• Conduct patient assessments and monitor responses to respiratory treatments
• Perform and document Arterial Blood Gas (ABG) punctures accurately
• Follow respiratory protocols and safety guidelines during all procedures
• Manage ventilator settings and airway maintenance for optimal patient comfort
• Assist physicians with invasive and non-invasive procedures
• Deliver medicated aerosols via medical compressed gas
• Perform pulmonary function studies, cardiac and pulmonary stress tests
• Handle intubations and arterial line insertions as needed
