Med Surg RN Job in Vicksburg, MS

You'll work as a Registered Nurse in the Medical-Surgical unit at Merit Health River Region in Vicksburg, Mississippi. This is a 13-week travel contract position with a start date of August 10, 2026.

Schedule and Compensation

• Night shift: 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• 3 shifts per week (3x12)
• Rotating weekend schedule required
• Weekly pay: $1,801

Position Requirements

• Current RN license
• BLS certification
• ACLS certification
• NIHSS certification
• Permanent address must be 50+ miles from the facility

About the Role

You will provide direct patient care on a Medical-Surgical unit, supporting patients through recovery and treatment. Your responsibilities will include patient assessment, medication administration, wound care, patient education, and coordination with the healthcare team. You'll work alongside experienced nursing staff in a collaborative environment.
