ICU - Intensive Care Unit

Opportunity:

RN - CCU

Job Details:

• Float pool position expected to float throughout the hospital including the Emergency Department, ER Hold, Medical Surgical, Telemetry, and Stepdown/PCU
• Patient ratios up to 1:7 in Med-Surg
• Every other weekend required
• No call required
• Flexible scheduling required - no block schedule requests accepted
• Minimum 2 years of experience required; first-time travelers accepted
• Maximum 7 days of pre-approved time off per contract
• Holiday work requirements: if one or two major holidays fall within the assignment period, the traveler is expected to work all of them; if three major holidays fall within the assignment period, the traveler is expected to work two of them
• Major holidays include: Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving/Black Friday, Christmas Eve/Christmas Day, and New Year's Eve/New Year's Day
• Must have ICU experience
• Experience with Epic charting system required
• Minimum 2-3 patient ratio experience required
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS
• Required skills: arterial line management, BiPAP/CPAP management, care of ventilated patients, central line care/management, isolation precautions/PPE, management of dysrhythmias, starting and maintaining IVs, suctioning (ETT, NT), titrating cardiac drips, and titrating vasoactive drips
• Georgia or Compact nursing license required
