<p><strong>RN Position Job Notes:</strong></p> <p>Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.</p> <p><strong>Opportunity:</strong></p><p>RN - PCU</p><p><strong>Job Details:</strong></p><p>• Work in a 12-bed Progressive Care Unit (PCU)<br>• Maintain 4:1 patient ratio<br>• Every other weekend schedule requirement<br>• Float in rotation with full-time staff and other travelers<br>• Work with GE Monitors, Nova glucometers, and Pyxis medication dispensing system<br>• Use Meditech documentation system<br>• Required to wear charcoal gray scrubs<br>• Unit has 1 tech available for support<br>• Must demonstrate positive attitude, teamwork, and problem solving skills<br>• Perform post-cath care including TR band management<br>• Provide advanced pulmonary treatments and medication titration<br>• Follow Patient Experience requirements including AIDET, completion of communication boards, and medication teaching<br>• Required certifications: BLS and ACLS<br>• Advanced skills needed include care of TR band, advanced pulmonary treatments, and medication titration</p><p><strong>Facility:</strong></p><p>This healthcare facility operates as a Trauma III certified hospital providing comprehensive medical services.
