Job Details:

• Work Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM
• Must be flexible with work hours to meet department needs
• Must be dependable, accountable, and cooperative
• Perform wide variety of technical procedures requiring independent judgment and initiative
• Set up equipment to provide imaging services and position patients for procedures
• Obtain complete clinical history and assess for contraindicating conditions
• Follow established procedures for administration of contrast media when applicable
• Ensure proper patient identification and utilize right and left markers appropriately
• Review radiographic images for clinically acceptable results and release patients
• Respond to emergency situations and assist with crash cart maintenance when applicable
• Demonstrate competence in age-appropriate procedures and equipment operation
• Maintain competency with venipuncture where applicable
• Adjust technique to minimize ionizing radiation while maintaining image quality
• Clean, disinfect, and maintain equipment according to infection control policies
• Provide patient education using AIDET communication standards
• Complete mandatory departmental and hospital-wide education
• Take call when necessary
• Required certifications: ARRT-R (Radiography), BLS (Basic Life Support)
• Must have completed accredited Radiologic Technology program
• Entry level position with excellent communication skills required
