Physical Therapy Assistant

Job Details:

• 13-week contract assignment
• Caseload consists of mostly outpatient patients with some inpatient coverage
• Experience working in both inpatient and outpatient settings required
• Must maintain active BLS certification issued through American Heart Association (AHA)
• Required certifications include Iowa PTA license or compact state license
• Skills checklist must be completed within one year of submittal
• Annual competency exam required with 80% or passing score
• Joint Commission Core I, II, and III training required annually with 80% passing score
• Must complete Iowa Adult & Child Mandatory Reporter Certificates before start date
• Annual drug screening and background check required
• Time entry in Triage Plus system required no later than noon CST every Monday
