ICU - Intensive Care Unit

Opportunity:

RN - ICU

Job Details:

• Work in a 16-bed ICU with a 2:1 patient ratio
• Every other weekend scheduling requirement
• Float in rotation with full-time staff and other travelers
• Utilize GE Monitors, Nova glucometers, Pyxis medication dispensing system, and Draeger ventilators
• Document using Meditech electronic documentation system
• Tech support available for the unit
• Advanced skills required: ventilator/sedation management and medication titration
• Procedures performed on unit include trach placement, bronchoscopy, and cardioversion
• Must demonstrate positive attitude, teamwork, and strong problem-solving skills
• Patient experience requirements include AIDET communication framework, completion of communication board, and medication teaching
• Required certifications: BLS and ACLS
• Required uniform: Charcoal gray scrubs
