Cardiac Cath Lab RN Job in Richmond, VA

Join CJW Medical Center Chippenham Campus as a travel RN in our Cardiac Cath Lab. This 91-day assignment runs through mid-August 2026, with a start date of May 27, 2026.

Role Overview

You will work in a high-volume interventional cardiac catheterization lab operating 3 cath labs with 10–11 staff members per day. Patient care follows a 3-staff-per-room model, ensuring safe, coordinated procedures. Your responsibilities include assisting with diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterizations, Impella and balloon-pump procedures, peripheral cases, complex percutaneous coronary interventions (PCIs), and occasional device procedures.

Schedule & Compensation

This is a 4×10 day shift, working 8:00 AM to 6:30 PM. You will earn $2,861.60 per week. On-call responsibilities apply to some weekends and weekdays; you must be able to report to the hospital within 30 minutes if called back.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Current RN license
• RCIS certification
• RT certification
• Hands-on interventional cardiac cath lab experience required
• Experience in high-volume labs handling complex cases preferred

Environment & Equipment

You will work with GE X-ray and MacLab equipment, supported by Meditech EMR systems. The hospital provides light blue scrubs. This is a fast-paced, busy environment with no floating to other clinical areas—your focus remains entirely on the cath lab.
