Laboratory - Medical Lab Technician

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• 7 days on, 7 days off schedule
• Previous blood bank experience required, preferably in high-paced trauma environment
• Minimum 2 years of experience in specialty required
• Must be located over 65 miles from facility (address on driver's license to site address)
• Louisiana license or compact license required in hand upon submittal
• Allied candidates must apply for Allied Health licensure within 72 hours of signing
• AHA certifications required
• Orientation held 5 days a week with billable modules
• Two Manager/Supervisor references required to obtain clearance to start contract
• Must have been separated from Ochsner Health System for 1 full year before returning as travel
• No call-ins policy strictly enforced
• Must provide MT/MLT background specifically in blood bank operations
