ICU - Intensive Care Unit

Opportunity:

RN - ICU Med Surg

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts with guaranteed 36 hours per week (3x12)
• Weekend hours as needed with no call requirements
• 19-bed unit with average patient ratios of 2-3:1
• Float requirements to Med Surg and Telemetry units
• Must have 2+ years of experience
• Required certifications: Current RN licensure with Missouri State Board of Nursing or Missouri temporary work permit, ACLS, BLS
• Must have current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider card
• Required skills: Critical Care, Post Stroke care, titrating cardiac drips (Nitro, Cardizem, Amio, Esmolol), BiPAPs, utilizing Airvos, ability to recognize deteriorating patients, ventilated compressors
• Care for medical, basic cardiac, and neuro patients
• Use EPIC EMR system
• Black scrub color required with professional scrub attire (no hoodies)
• Must be a self-starter with team work focus
• Medical calculation test preferred
