Opportunity:

RN - CVICU

Job Details:

• 36 or 48 hours per week available; 16-week contract preferred, 13-week contracts accepted
• Patient ratio of 1:2 with a daily census of 14 patients across 20 beds
• Every other weekend required
• No on-call requirements
• May float within service line when needed
• Home address must be at least 75 miles from facility
• Minimum 2 years of Cardiac/CVICU ICU experience required; no neuro ICU experience accepted
• Travel experience required; first-time travelers not accepted
• Must pass Relias EKG exam
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, BSN
• Charting system: Epic (preferred experience)
• Scrub color: Navy Blue
• Care for adult patients with high-acuity cardiac conditions including acute heart failure, CHF exacerbation, fluid overload, post cardiac arrest, complete heart block, cardiogenic shock, pre-heart transplant, arrhythmias, and ventricular tachycardia
• Must be proficient in ventilator management, arterial line management, and pulmonary artery catheter management
• Must be comfortable operating and managing pacemakers, Impellas, intra-aortic balloon pumps, and LVADs
• Must be proficient in vasoactive drips, central lines, PA/TVP catheter monitoring, dialysis, and Foley catheter management
• Up to 2 RTO requests allowed, not to exceed 40 hours (5 days) total during the contract
