<p><strong>Allied Position Job Notes:</strong></p> <p>Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available</p> <p><strong>Opportunity:</strong></p><p>PT - Physical Therapist</p><p><strong>Job Details:</strong></p><p>• Provide inpatient physical therapy treatment focusing on orthopedic (same day joints and orthopedic trauma), neuro, medical, ICU, cardiac, renal, oncology, trauma, and stroke patients<br>• Typically start with 10 evaluations, with potential for additional treatments<br>• Evaluate patients referred for physical therapy utilizing specialized testing procedures and skills<br>• Assess patient strength, range of motion, coordination, perception, sensation, ambulation, transfers, and bed mobility<br>• Develop individualized physical therapy plans of care directed towards short and long-term goals<br>• Supervise operation of specific treatment teams and meet regularly with PTAs to discuss patients and set goals<br>• Perform evidence-based care and seek out research to support interventions<br>• Complete medical documentation in accordance with APTA standards of care<br>• Ensure treatments are performed as ordered in a safe and timely manner<br>• Maintain professional image and exhibit excellent customer relations with patients, visitors, physicians, and co-workers<br>• Attend and participate in services, meetings, and educational sessions<br>• Assist in adjusting schedules to accommodate changes in department caseload<br>• Maintain orderly, clean, and safe work area<br>• Required certifications: SC LLR PT License and AHA BLS<br>• Must respect patient confidentiality and adhere to all facility policies and procedures</p><p><strong>Facility:</strong></p><p>This regional medical center provides comprehensive healthcare services with a focus on rehabilitation and therapeutic care.
