Mammography Technologist Job in Placerville, CA

Join Marshall Medical Center - Placerville as a Mammography Technologist on a 91-day travel assignment. You'll work day shifts from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM or 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, with no weekend or call requirements.

About the Role

You will float between two locations—Placerville and Cameron Park facilities, approximately 15 miles apart. Typically you'll work one facility per week, though same-day floats may occur on rare occasions. Your responsibilities include performing 3-D mammography, diagnostic mammograms, digital mammography, and screening mammograms. You'll also conduct fine needle aspirations, needle localizations, and stereotactic biopsies.

If already trained, you may perform general X-ray and DXA procedures as needed. You'll work with adult and geriatric patient populations using GE equipment, maintain digital quality assurance procedures, and follow isolation precautions, radiation safety protocols, and universal precautions. Patient charting is completed in the EPIC system.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of mammography experience
• Current California Mammographic Radiologic Technologist license (must be in hand before submission)
• ARRT (M) certification
• BLS certification

Orientation includes 2–4 hours of billable modules for radiology technicians. Please note: no requests to return to origin (RTO) within 2 weeks will be approved after your contract is signed.
