ED - Emergency Room

Job Details:

• 5 years of emergency room nursing experience required
• Travel nursing experience required
• Trauma Level II experience required
• Patient ratio of 4:1 for days, nights, and weekends
• Work every other weekend with 3 weekend shifts per week
• Self-scheduling available
• 24-hour orientation provided
• Care for patients of all age groups: neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Daily census ranges from 50-70 patients
• Work in 12-room, 11-bed emergency department
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC (all must be AHA certified)
• Epic charting system experience required
• Skills required include BiPAP/CPAP management, ventilated patient care, central line management, continuous IV sedation, emergency medications, ABG interpretation, dysrhythmia management, procedural sedation, and triage
• Must be available for lab work within 3-5 days of contract signing
• Valid California nursing license required at time of submission
• 7-year work history verification required
• Complete online learning modules during orientation (1-5 hours average)
