ICU - Intensive Care Unit

RN - ICU

Job Details:

• 13-week contract
• Rotating 12-hour shifts between days and nights: 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM and 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Rotation cadence varies - could be a month of each shift, two weeks of each, or occasional one-week swaps; no swaps within the same week
• Self-scheduling
• Patient ratio of 2:1 for days, nights, and weekends
• 3 weekend shifts required per contract
• Float to like units may be required
• Cares for adult and geriatric patient populations
• Daily census of 20 patients across 20 beds
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required
• Prior critical care experience required
• Cerner charting system experience highly preferred
• Travel experience preferred
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, CPI, NIHSS
• Key skills include ventilator management, arterial line management, central line care, titration of cardiac and vasoactive drips, ICP monitoring, management of dysrhythmias, BiPAP/CPAP management, and care of ventilated patients
