Interventional Radiology RN Job in Arlington, VA

Virginia Hospital Center is seeking a Registered Nurse for our Interventional Radiology department in Arlington, VA. This is a 13-week travel assignment offering competitive compensation and the opportunity to work in a fast-paced procedural environment.

Position Details:

• Schedule: 4x10-hour day shifts, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
• Weekly pay: $3,312
• On-call requirement: 10–12 primary/back-up shifts every six weeks (weekday and weekend mix) with 30-minute response time
• Patient population: Adults

Your Responsibilities:

• Administer conscious sedation medications and monitor patients throughout procedures
• Perform pre-procedural timeouts and critical care nursing assessments
• Support interventional radiologists in a high-volume IR department
• Maintain EPIC (Radiant — IR) documentation

Required Qualifications:

• Active VA or Compact License at time of submission
• Minimum 3 years nursing experience
• Neuro IR or procedural nursing background with ICU experience required
• Demonstrated thrombectomy experience
• Neuro/stroke nursing experience
• Conscious sedation experience
• Travel nursing experience
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIH certifications
• EPIC (Radiant — IR) proficiency
