<p><strong>RN Position Job Notes:</strong></p> <p>Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.</p> <p><strong>Opportunity:</strong></p><p>RN - Stepdown</p><p><strong>Job Details:</strong></p><p>• Provide safe, efficient, age-specific nursing care to patients and families using the nursing process<br>• Implement nursing process by delivering effective relationship-based nursing care<br>• Demonstrate technical skills in care delivery that result in safe practice and positive care outcomes<br>• Communicate clearly and collaborate effectively to optimize patient care and clinical operations<br>• Work in 30-bed stepdown unit caring for mix of medical and surgical patients<br>• Nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:4, 1:5, or 1:6<br>• Float to inpatient areas including SDU, MCU, West Medical, West Surgical, and ED for boarded patients<br>• May float to UH Tripoint Medical Center areas including TP ST, TP MT, TP CCU, and ED for boarded patients<br>• Unit consists of both private and semi-private patient rooms<br>• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, and NIH<br>• Develop professional nursing skills and contribute to nursing practice<br>• Display leadership that influences optimal clinical and operational outcomes</p><p><strong>Facility:</strong></p><p>This medical center operates as part of a larger healthcare system providing comprehensive medical and surgical services to the community.
