Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg Tele Float Pool

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Every other weekend schedule required
• Rotating holidays required (1 major, 1 minor - both eve and day of holiday)
• Float pool position - nurses call before each shift for unit assignment and report directly to the assigned unit
• Assignments may include any adult Medical-Surgical/Telemetry unit, ED Holding, or IMC
• Occasional mid-shift reassignments may occur based on operational needs
• Participate in unit safety huddle and standard workflows upon arrival to assigned unit
• Care for adult patients with a broad range of diagnoses including general medical-surgical, telemetry, neurology, stroke, orthopedics/trauma, elective joint and spine procedures, skeletal traction, and external fixation
• Patient ratio typically 1:4-6 based on unit acuity
• Minimum 2 years of recent acute care RN experience in a medical-surgical/telemetry setting required
• Experience caring for diverse patient populations and adapting to multiple clinical environments strongly preferred
• Epic EMR experience required
• Required certifications: BLS and ACLS (NIHSS preferred and required upon hire during orientation)
