PICU - Pediatric Intensive Care

RN - PICU

Job Details:

• Schedule consists of 3x12 or 4x12 shifts with holiday coverage required
• Weekend coverage required
• Patient ratio is 2:1 for days, nights, and weekends
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• First time travelers accepted
• Floating is required - candidates may float within the hospital or to a nearby affiliate hospital
• Care for patients across age groups including infants, pediatrics, and adolescents
• Interdisciplinary support available including physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, radiology, pharmacy, and unit secretary
• Cerner charting system experience preferred
• Required certifications: BLS, PALS
• Required skills include administration of blood and blood products, care of ventilated patients, central line/implanted line care, infection control/PPE, interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, isolation precautions/PPE, pediatric dosage calculations, PICC line management, and PICU experience
• Indiana nursing license must be in hand prior to submission
