Opportunity:

RN - Acute Med Surg

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM
• 3x12 hour shift schedule
• Every other weekend requirement
• Holiday work as needed
• Patient ratios of 1:5, possibly 1:6 for both days and nights
• Must reside within 75-mile radius from hospital based on driver's license address
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience and 1 travel assignment required - no first-time travelers
• Required certifications: BLS (AHA) and NIHSS (both must be AHA)
• Scrub color requirement: Caribbean Blue
• Float to all acute care units and cardio for medical patients, or emergency department for acute care patient holds
• Work with telemetry patients (monitored on different unit)
• CNAs available with 1:8 to 1:10 ratios, can serve as sitters
• MEDITECH EMR system (experience preferred but not required)
• 1 week general orientation including EMR training
• 2 days floor-specific orientation
• 44-bed unit with 40 staff members
