Med Surg RN Job in Casper, WY

Wyoming Medical Center Central in Casper is seeking an RN for Medical-Surgical nursing on a 3x12 night shift schedule. This 89-day travel assignment begins June 15, 2026, with a weekly pay of $2,310.30.

Role Responsibilities:

• Assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and document nursing care for medical-surgical patients
• Complete comprehensive patient assessments addressing physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational, and developmental needs
• Review patient history and diagnostics; report abnormal results to physicians
• Formulate individualized care plans including discharge planning
• Implement care through direct patient care, coordination, delegation, and supervision
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare team members
• Document all nursing interventions and patient responses in medical records
• Provide patient and family education and evaluate teaching effectiveness
• Supervise licensed and non-licensed personnel in patient care activities
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and professional development

Requirements:

• Current RN license in Wyoming
• BLS and ACLS certification required
• Wyoming DFS certification required
• Minimum one year acute care hospital experience in medical-surgical specialty
• Experience must include work in acute care setting within the past 12 months
• Bachelor's degree and professional certification preferred
