Med Surg RN Job in Albany, GA

You'll work as an RN on the Medical-Surgical unit at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital in Albany, GA. This is a 119-day travel assignment starting April 27, 2026, with 3x12 hour day shifts.

Schedule & Compensation

• 12-hour shifts beginning at 6:45 AM
• Saturday and Sunday only schedule with every other weekend requirement
• On-call for low census situations
• Holiday rotation with permanent staff
• Weekly pay: $2,102.40

Role Responsibilities

• Typical nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:6
• Float to Ortho/Neuro, Oncology, Acute Care, and JFW units as needed
• Remain flexible with changing assignments during shifts
• Monitor patients on telemetry across different units
• Work with BIPAP, CPAP, vapotherm, and Draeger ventilators
• Use MEDITECH electronic medical record system

Requirements & Qualifications

• RN degree (BSN not required)
• 2 years of nursing experience with 1 travel assignment OR 4 years of experience without travel
• Current BLS and NIHSS certifications
• Ability to work within a strict 75-mile radius
• Must complete interview with Medical Solutions RN
