MRI Technologist Job in Tampa, FL

ADEX Healthcare Staffing is recruiting an MRI Technologist for a 91-day travel assignment at Baycare Outpatient imaging - St. Joseph's Medical Arts Building in Tampa, Florida. You will work 3x12 hour shifts, 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM, with weekend coverage required Friday through Sunday.

Role & Responsibilities

• Perform approximately 16 outpatient MRI exams per ten-hour shift
• Conduct MRI imaging across body, musculoskeletal, and neurology studies
• Execute MRI procedures including abdomen, brain, spine, extremities, MRA, MRV, and MRCP
• Serve patient populations spanning adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics
• Work with 2 MRI technologists during weekend shifts
• Operate 2024 Siemens Aera 1.5 T equipment

Requirements

• ARRT MR and BLS certifications required
• Florida license or compact license at time of submittal
• Minimum 2 years of MRI technologist experience
• Must reside at least 100 miles from facility due to radius rule
• Cerner charting experience preferred
• First-time travelers accepted

Assignment Details

• Start date: May 11, 2026
• Duration: 91 days
• Weekly pay: $1,797.55
• No RTO allowed in contracts
• Smoke-free facility
• Modules required pre-start (up to 4 billable hours for Allied professionals)
