PCU - Progressive Care Unit

Opportunity:

RN - PCU Stepdown

Job Details:

• Work as PCU Charge RN with charge experience required
• Maintain 1:4 patient ratios on a 21-bed unit
• Every other weekend requirement, if needed
• Float to Med Surg when needed, and to ICU for PCU patient status only
• First to float among staff
• Up to 2 extra shifts required per 6 weeks
• Care for PCU/Telemetry patients including post-Cath Lab patients
• Work in acute care setting at Level 3 trauma facility
• Use EPIC charting system
• Required certifications: ACLS (AHA or ARC), BLS (AHA or ARC), NIHSS
• BSN degree not required
• PCU/Telemetry experience required
• Client may provide 2-week notice and call off up to 48 hours per 13 weeks
