Opportunity:

Sonographer - Cardiac Sonographer

Job Details:

• Work 8-hour day shifts Monday through Friday with variable start times ranging from 6:00 AM to 8:30 AM
• Schedule is 5 x 8-hour shifts with call
• No night shifts, no weekend requirements, and no holiday requirements
• No on-call or standby requirements
• Perform a variety of cardiac imaging studies including contrast studies, bubble studies, Post TAVRs, Mitra Clips, stress tests, and 3D imaging
• Must have experience with complicated pathology and advanced assessments
• In-depth knowledge of heart anatomy and pathology required
• Experience with contrast/bubble studies, strain, and advanced pathology required
• 3D imaging experience preferred
• Great scanning skills and techniques required with high expectations for quality and efficiency
• Starting IVs is not a requirement, but training is available for those interested
• Charting performed using EPIC EMR
• Radiology educator on-site who occasionally takes patient assignments and performs procedures
• Scrubs required in solid colors - no special color requirement
• Required certifications: BLS, RDCS/RCS
• Active Illinois license required or confirmation that application process has been initiated
