Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg Tele

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM with 3x12 schedule
• Every other weekend coverage required
• Patient ratio of 1:6 for night shifts
• Float required to other units based on need and skill set
• Care for adult and geriatric patients
• Must have at least 1 year of EPIC experience required
• Previous charge experience required
• Travel experience required - no first time travelers
• Minimum 1 year of nursing experience required
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, and active Tennessee RN license
• Flu vaccine required with no exemptions
• 24-hour orientation provided every Monday
• Must complete pre-assignment testing and modules within 48 hours
• Handle patient diagnoses including stroke/TIA, seizure, syncope, pneumonia, chest pain, dialysis, acute kidney failure, post heart catheterization, respiratory failure, encephalopathy, CHF, and sepsis
• Perform specialized procedures including peritoneal dialysis and continuous bladder irrigation
• Use Omnicell medication system
• Work with interdisciplinary support including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, and rapid response teams
