Oncology RN Job in Lawrenceville, GA

Northside Hospital Gwinnett is seeking a Registered Nurse for its Oncology unit. This is a travel position based in Lawrenceville, GA, with an assignment duration of 89 days beginning November 9, 2026.

Role Overview

You will provide direct patient care on the oncology unit, administering chemotherapy and managing the complex needs of cancer patients. Day shifts run 5 days per week with variable scheduling between 7:30 AM–4:00 PM or 8:00 AM–4:30 PM, depending on unit needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer chemotherapy and monitor patient responses
• Provide nursing care for oncology patients throughout treatment cycles
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team
• Document patient status and interventions according to facility standards

Requirements

• Current RN license
• Minimum 2 years of recent oncology specialty experience
• AHA BLS certification
• ACLS certification
• Chemotherapy Certification
• Ability to work 2 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, or New Year's Day)
• Ability to work 1 minor holiday (Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year's Eve)
• Must live outside a 50-mile radius of the facility

Compensation & Details
