Telemetry RN Job in Tucson, AZ

You will work as a Registered Nurse in a Telemetry float pool position at Northwest Medical Center and affiliated facilities in the Tucson area. This is a 91-day travel assignment beginning June 29, 2026.

Schedule and Compensation

• 3x12 night shifts per week (7:00 PM to 7:30 AM)
• 48-hour weekly guarantee
• 6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule
• Weekly pay: $2,102.40

Role Details

You will provide direct patient care on the Telemetry unit with a patient ratio of 6:1. As a float pool nurse, you are required to work across four locations: Northwest Medical Center, Oro Valley Hospital, Northwest Houghton, and Northwest Sahuarita. You will apply the nursing process in accordance with Arizona's Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies, demonstrate critical thinking in patient care planning, and delegate and supervise assigned personnel.

Requirements

• Current Arizona nursing license
• BLS certification
• ACLS certification
• 2+ years of nursing experience
• Cerner EMR experience preferred

Work Environment

Any color scrubs are permitted. You will maintain clinical competencies through continuing education and work in a fast-paced healthcare setting across multiple facility locations.
