ED - Emergency Room

RN - ER

Job Details:

• Work three 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
• Every other weekend required, holidays as needed
• Patient ratio of 3:1 for days, nights, and weekends
• Block scheduling type
• Minimum 2 years of experience required - first time travelers welcome
• General Emergency Department combined adult and pediatric experience required
• STEMI and Stroke certified facility experience required
• Previous Charge RN experience preferred
• Community hospital experience preferred
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, TNCC
• Preferred certifications: NRP, PALS
• Required charting system experience: MedHost
• 12-bed emergency department with a daily census of 30
• Care for patients across all age groups including neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Interdisciplinary support available including respiratory services, radiology, pharmacy, social services, rapid response teams, interpretation services, and unit secretary
• Special equipment includes Ranger Blood/Fluid Warmer, Bair Hugger, blanket warmer, and Baxter Spectrum IV pumps
• Common patient diagnoses include CHF, pneumonia, psychiatric conditions, UTI, hypertension, DKA, CVA, and MI
