Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• 48 guaranteed hours per week with overtime after 48 hours worked
• 13-week assignment length
• Float to all inpatient units as needed
• Every other weekend and every other holiday rotation required
• Can be placed on low census call with 2-hour minimum call back
• Contract eligible for 36 hours of low census unbillable hours
• Must be outside 50-mile radius of facility
• 2 years of nursing experience required with trauma level II experience highly preferred
• Required certifications: Wisconsin RN License, BLS (AHA or ARC)
• EPIC charting experience required
• Work on MAP Unit (Medical and Pediatrics) - travelers do not take pediatric patients
• Typical patient ratios: 1:4-5 on days, 1:6-7 on nights
• Treat conditions including respiratory illnesses, stroke, neurological conditions, gastrointestinal illness, diabetic management, renal failure, sepsis, and wound care
• Any color scrubs permitted
• Associate degree or certificate required, bachelor's degree preferred
• Mask required at all times during flu season if declining flu and COVID vaccination
