About this role
BUMC Phoenix is seeking an RN to join the Interventional Radiology team. You'll work four 10-hour shifts per week on a day schedule, with call and holiday responsibilities as part of the assignment.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Assess patients' physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational, developmental, cultural needs and discharge planning requirements
- Review patient history and physical with patient and family; report abnormal diagnostic and laboratory results to physicians and caregivers
- Formulate and implement individualized plans of care based on patient-specific needs, assessment data, and medical directives
- Coordinate, delegate, and supervise healthcare team activities to implement the plan of care
- Evaluate patient and family response to care and teaching, revising the plan as needed
- Document assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation accurately and timely in the patient record
- Participate in unit or facility shared leadership and contribute to education, role development, and orientation of personnel
- Precept and mentor staff to support professional growth when appropriate
- Actively participate in improvement of national nursing quality indicators and outcomes
Requirements:
- Minimum one year experience in acute care hospital setting, with specialty area experience within the past 12 months
- Current, valid RN license in Arizona
- BLS certification required
- Neuro experience preferred but not required
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Professional certification preferred
This 82-week assignment begins September 21, 2026, offering weekly pay of $3,128.
