ED RN Job in Smyrna, TN

You'll work as a Registered Nurse in a 39-bed Emergency Department at Stonecrest Medical Center. This is a 91-day travel assignment with 3x12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM), including every other weekend. Your weekly pay is $1,971.

About the Role

You'll manage a 4:1 patient ratio with a surge bed assigned to each section. The ED team includes a free lead, unit clerk, sitters for behavioral health, paramedics, EMTs, and LPNs who support patient care and safety.

Clinical Skills & Experience Required

• Critical care drips and sedation management
• Emergency Severity Index (ESI) triage
• Advanced life support and code management
• STEMI, Stroke, and Sepsis protocols
• Trauma experience (preferred)

Procedures & Equipment

You'll perform or assist with intubation, chest tube insertion, and splinting. Equipment used includes Rapid Infuser and Glidescope. Documentation occurs in Meditech EDM.

Required Certifications

• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
• TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course)
• CPI (Crisis Prevention Institute)

Charcoal grey scrubs are the required uniform. This role emphasizes teamwork and personalized patient care in a high-acuity emergency setting.
