MRI Technologist Job in Houston, TX

You will work as an MRI Technologist at CHI St Lukes Health - Baylor St Lukes Medical Center in Houston, Texas. This is a 42-week travel assignment in an acute care setting.

Schedule and Hours

• Work four 10-hour shifts, Tuesday through Friday, 12:30 PM to 11:00 PM
• Weekly pay: $2,470.80
• On-call rotation on a weekly basis (Monday to Monday), currently averaging once per month
• Call hours: Monday-Friday 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM, and Saturday-Sunday 7:00 AM to 7:00 AM the following day
• On-call technologists may be required to cover Saturday-Sunday day shifts (7:00 AM to 7:00 PM) if the regular technologist calls in
• Call backs are rare, averaging 2 to 4 times total per month

Equipment and Systems

• You will work with Philips 1.5T and 3T MRI systems
• A Siemens 1.5T system is being installed in June 2025
• Charting uses the EPIC system

Requirements and Certifications

• Certified MRI Technologist via ARMRIT
• BLS Certification required
• ARMRIT certification is accepted
• Texas state license is not required

Practical Details

• Daily parking: $15 and up
• Monthly parking passes available: $95 to $120
• Cancellation policy: 4 shifts per 13-week assignment, or 3 shifts for assignments shorter than 13 weeks
