CVOR RN Job in Nashville, TN

You will work as a Registered Nurse in the Cardiac Vascular Operating Room (CVOR) at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee. This is a 91-day travel assignment beginning July 27, 2026.

Schedule and Compensation

• Work 3 twelve-hour shifts per week
• Shifts are Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM
• Specific days will vary based on unit needs; a fixed block schedule is not guaranteed
• Call requirements apply with 3 layers of call coverage available 24/7, with requirements rotating every 6 weeks
• Weekly pay: $3,324.42

Role Responsibilities

• Scrub and circulate cardiac surgeries
• Care for adult patients undergoing complex procedures including CABG, valve replacement, repeat cardiac surgery, heart failure treatment, ECMO support, VAD placement, heart and lung transplant, pulmonary thromboembolism, cardiac trauma, and adult congenital cases
• Float between OR rooms as needed; no float to other departments required
• Adult patient population only—no pediatric cases

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of CVOR or OR experience
• Prior travel healthcare experience required
• Current BLS certification
• Current ACLS certification
• RN degree
