Telemetry RN Job in Corpus Christi, TX

ADEX Healthcare Staffing is recruiting an RN for a 13-week travel assignment on the 2 West Telemetry unit at Doctors Regional Medical Center in Corpus Christi, TX. You'll work three 12-hour day shifts per week, starting April 13, 2026, at $1,708.20 weekly.

About the Role

You will care for medical and surgical patients on a dedicated telemetry unit with a maximum 6:1 patient ratio. The unit has 8 inpatient beds plus 8 admission unit beds, occasionally flexing to 12 inpatient beds. You'll manage 4–6 patients at a time, performing standard nursing skills including:

• IV insertions
• Urinary catheter insertion and maintenance
• Central line maintenance
• Medication administration
• EHR documentation and team communication

You will use the Meditech EMR system and standard unit equipment. Float assignments to other medical-surgical units may occur as needed, and rotating weekends are part of travel RN expectations.

Requirements

• Current RN license
• Minimum 1+ years acute medical-surgical experience within the last year
• Ability to work three 12-hour day shifts per week
• Scrubs required for dress code

Preferred Qualifications

• 2+ years acute medical-surgical experience within the last year
• Orthopedic or neuro-surgery background
• Medical-surgical or telemetry background
