Opportunity:

RN - Tele Neuro

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Every other weekend requirement
• Patient ratio of 1:3-4
• First to float and could float to sister facility
• Minimum 2 years of recent experience required (within past 6 months)
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
• Must pass dysrhythmia exam through RELIAS within 48 hours of offer (maximum 2 attempts)
• Pass/fail exam on day 1 of orientation with emphasis on sterile field
• Must be able to interpret EKGs with centralized telemetry monitoring
• Navy scrubs required
• 2-day floor-specific orientation
• Care for neuro post-surgical patients, post craniotomy, spine surgery, and CVA post-TPA patients
• Work on 28-bed D4 Neuro unit
• No ICP monitoring or ventilator management
• Use Cerner charting system
• BSN not required but nursing license submission required
