ICU - Intensive Care Unit

Opportunity:

RN - SICU

Job Details:

• High acuity ICU position with a 1:2 patient ratio
• Float requirement to other ICUs and SDUs
• Self-scheduling with weekend coverage required
• Patients include adults and geriatrics
• SICU skills required: general post-op care for surgical recovery patients
• CVICU skills required: caring for post-op CABG, valve replacement/repair, aortic dissection, IABP, and PA catheter patients
• Transplant recovery experience required: liver, heart, lungs, kidney, and pancreas
• Experience with Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy (CRRT/CVVHD) required
• Preferred experience with PA catheters and balloon pumps
• Epic charting system experience required
• Minimum 2 years of experience in specialty required
• Travel experience required
• Must be located more than 65 miles from facility
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
• AHA certifications required
• Compact or Louisiana license required upon submittal
