Med Surg RN Job in Cumming, GA

Northside Hospital Forsyth is seeking a Registered Nurse for a 13-week travel assignment in the Progressive Care Unit (787F). You will provide acute care medical surgical nursing services in an intermediate care setting, supporting patients who require step-down or progressive monitoring and intervention.

Assignment Details:

• Location: Cumming, GA
• Shift: 3x12 nights, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Start date: June 15, 2026
• Weekly pay: $1,759.71

Requirements:

• Current RN license
• Minimum 2 years of recent experience in medical surgical nursing or a related acute care specialty
• Demonstrated competency in step-down or intermediate care environments
• AHA BLS certification
• ACLS certification
• NIH Certification

Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct patient care in a progressive care unit environment
• Monitor and respond to patients requiring intermediate-level clinical intervention
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams
• Document patient assessments and interventions accurately
• Maintain infection control and safety standards
