About this role

You'll work as a Registered Nurse in a telemetry float pool serving the greater Denver region. This role offers flexible scheduling with multiple facilities and unit types, giving you variety in your clinical experience.

  • Schedule: Three 12-hour night shifts per week (7:00 PM to 7:00 AM). Schedules are released 4–6 weeks in advance. You'll work 6–9 weekend shifts within each 6-week cycle. The hospital may cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment.
  • Float Assignment: You'll float within Zone 3, a 60-mile radius from Denver City Center, across four facilities: OrthoColorado Hospital, Longmont United Hospital, St. Anthony Hospital, and St. Anthony North Hospital. Assignments can be scheduled for the full week or assigned just-in-time (1–2 hours before your shift).
  • Clinical Units: The float pool includes General MS-Tele, Cardiac, Neuro, Oncology, Rehab, Renal, Bariatrics, Ortho, Trauma, and ED Observation. You may also be placed in ICU, PCU/Stepdown, and other MS-Tele units based on facility needs.
  • Patient Care: You'll care for adult and geriatric patients with cardiac, neurological, orthopedic, oncology, renal, and post-surgical diagnoses. Nurse-to-patient ratios are 1:5–6 depending on acuity. You'll titrate heparin drips as needed.
  • Requirements: You must have 2 years of MS-Tele experience. Prior neuro experience is preferred. Current BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), and NIHSS certifications are required.
  • Orientation: You'll receive 1–2 days of orientation with a preceptor. The facility uses EPIC for charting.
  • Additional: Color scrubs of your choice are permitted. Rare call or standby may occur during low census. You may be included in holiday rotation.

Compensation: $2,384.64 per week. Assignment duration is 91 days, with a start date of July 6, 2026.
