CT Technologist Job in Andalusia, AL

SH Andalusia Health is seeking a CT Technologist for a travel assignment in Andalusia, AL. This is a 91-day position starting November 9, 2026, offering four 10-hour night shifts Monday through Thursday at $2,422 per week.

Role Overview

You will perform CT imaging procedures and support radiology operations as needed. Your responsibilities include reviewing patient history and physician orders prior to procedures, educating patients about equipment and exams, and positioning patients for imaging. You will prepare and administer contrast media and medications within your scope of practice when ordered, monitor patient condition continuously, and report any changes in status.

Key Responsibilities

• Float between X-ray and CT departments as required
• Prepare equipment and supplies, implementing appropriate safety standards
• Perform quality control procedures on imaging equipment
• Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and report issues as necessary
• Analyze imaging results and identify quality issues, taking corrective action such as repositioning patients or repeating procedures
• Enter, transmit, and report scan results

Required Qualifications

• Associate degree in radiologic technology (CT technology certificate program preferred)
• Minimum 2 years of recent experience in Radiology and CT
• ARRT certification in Radiology and CT
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association
