Ob/Gyn Sonographer Job in Reno, Nevada

You will work as a Perinatal Sonographer for Renown Health Physician Services in Reno, Nevada. This is a travel position with a 91-day duration, starting June 15, 2026.

Schedule and Pay

• Monday through Thursday: 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
• Friday: 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM (full or half day)
• Guaranteed 36 hours per week
• No call and no weekend requirements
• Weekly pay: $3,358

Your Responsibilities

• Perform all requested sonographic examinations as ordered by the attending physician
• Acquire and analyze data using ultrasound and related diagnostic technologies
• Use independent judgment and systematic problem-solving to produce high-quality diagnostic information
• Generate reports on the PACS system and work with attending physicians to visualize sonographic examinations
• Participate in obstetrical procedures alongside the physician for ultrasound guidance
• Prepare accurate and comprehensive preliminary reports and contact referring physicians when required
• Prepare and clean examination rooms and sterilize equipment as needed
• Coordinate with other staff to ensure appropriate patient care
• Recognize and respond to emergencies, obtaining assistance from physicians when appropriate
• May float to other areas of the organization up to your competency level
• May be required to work major holidays and pick up one additional shift during the schedule period

Required Qualifications

• Allied Health Professional credential
• Minimum 2 years of sonography experience
• Experience with clinic and inpatient scans
• Experience in Women's Health
• ARDMS certification in Obstetrics and/or Gynecology
• BLS certification
• Ability to obtain and maintain Nuchal Translucency certification at time of hire

• RVT registry
• Fetal Echocardiography (FE) certification
• Nasal Bone certification
• NRP certification
