Registered Nurse - Pediatric OR @ Childrens Nebraska

Job Details:

• Work 10-hour shifts with off-shift rotation schedule
• On-call assignments required 1-2 shifts per week (both weekdays and weekends)
• Weekend coverage required - 2 shifts per 6 weeks
• Minimum 1 year of experience required
• Pediatric OR experience required, scrub experience preferred
• Required certifications: BLS, PALS
• 40 hours of orientation provided
• One pre-approved time off allowed
• Work in 11-bed pediatric operating room with 10 rooms and approximately 55 visits per day
• Care for neonates, infants, pediatrics, and adolescents
• Skills include anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction, arthroscopy procedures, cleft lip/palate repair, cystoscopy, eye trauma care, and various pediatric surgical procedures
• Circulate and scrub capabilities required
• Work with special equipment including Stealth Navigation, Laser, IntraOp MRI, and NICU OR equipment
• Support interdisciplinary team including physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, and rapid response teams
• Former permanent employees not accepted as travel assignments
• Local candidates within 100-mile radius not accepted
