<p><strong>Allied Position Job Notes:</strong></p> <p>Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available</p> <p><strong>Opportunity:</strong></p><p>Respiratory Therapist - Registered Respiratory Therapist</p><p><strong>Job Details:</strong></p><p>• Work 4x12 hour shifts with every other weekend required<br>• Minimum 2 years of experience required with children's hospital experience within the last 3 years<br>• Must have Labor & Delivery experience as primary assignment will be in L&D<br>• NICU experience required with minimum 2 years experience<br>• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NBRC RRT, NRP (required for L&D placement), Indiana State License<br>• PALS preferred but not required<br>• Education must be accredited by CoARC and regionally accredited by CHEA<br>• Float to PICU and some Pediatric Acute Care areas as needed<br>• Home unit assignment of NICU, PICU, or Pediatrics determined at facility<br>• Work with patient age groups including neonates, infants, and pediatrics<br>• Experience with specialized equipment and procedures including ventilator management, aerosol treatments, and airway management<br>• Skills required include ABG interpretation, mechanical ventilation weaning, and tracheostomy care<br>• Must work 2 out of 3 major holidays<br>• Flu vaccine required with medical/religious exemptions only<br>• First time travelers accepted<br>• Floating is 100% required for all travelers</p><p><strong>Facility:</strong></p><p>This renowned children's hospital specializes in comprehensive pediatric care and serves as a leading healthcare facility for children requiring specialized medical services.
