Job Details:

• Floating between departments and local locations within 20 miles required
• Evaluate and treat patients regarding application of therapeutic interventions for rehabilitation of physical and developmental disorders
• Work in various settings including inpatient, outpatient, long term care, community based care, and home health care
• For pediatric assignments: evaluate and treat infants, children, and adolescents from birth to 18 years old
• Address motor development, strength, range of motion, endurance, balance, coordination, and gait
• Float to adult units if needed when pediatric patient census fluctuates
• Must demonstrate knowledge of growth and development principles across patient lifespan
• Coordinate and communicate with various disciplines involved in patient care
• Oversee comprehensive rehabilitation programs for physical, psychosocial, and environmental well-being
• Promote patient/caregiver self-determination through resource utilization
• Coordinate discharge planning established at initial evaluation
• Basic computer skills required
• Understanding of rules and regulations specific to healthcare settings required
• Detailed knowledge of physical therapy principles and interpretation of data required
