ED RN Job in Tucson, AZ

Northwest Medical Center in Tucson, AZ is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Emergency Department. You'll work 3x12 night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM in a 38-bed ED, with a 48-hour guarantee consideration.

About the Role

You'll provide direct care to Emergency Room patients using the Nursing Process in accordance with Arizona state Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies. You'll demonstrate critical thinking and scientific judgment while planning safe patient care delivery. Your responsibilities include delegating patient care priorities based on staff education and experience, providing direction and supervision of assigned personnel, and maintaining clinical competencies through continuing education.

Requirements

• Current RN license
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience
• Cerner EMR experience required
• Willingness to float to other departments as needed
• Black scrubs dress code

Preferred Qualifications

• Charge nurse experience (additional $3/hour)
• NIH certification recommended but not required

Compensation & Duration

You'll earn $1,971 per week. This is a 91-day contract starting April 6, 2026.
