ED RN Job in Casper, WY

Wyoming Medical Center Central in Casper, Wyoming is seeking an experienced Emergency Department RN for a travel assignment. You will work a 3x12 night shift schedule for 88 days, beginning September 14, 2026.

Your Role

You will provide direct patient care in a fast-paced emergency setting, assessing and evaluating patients across a wide range of acuity levels. Your responsibilities include:

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments addressing physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational, developmental, and cultural needs
• Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient-specific assessment data
• Document all nursing interventions, patient responses, and care provided in patient records
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to ensure continuity of care
• Coordinate, delegate, and supervise healthcare team activities
• Monitor patient progress toward goals and revise care plans as needed
• Mentor and precept nursing staff and other healthcare personnel

Qualifications

You must hold a current valid RN license in Wyoming or compact licensure. Required certifications include BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC. You must have a minimum of one year acute care hospital experience in an emergency department setting within the past 12 months. Wyoming DFS clearance is required.

Physical Requirements

You must be able to lift up to 75 pounds and respond quickly to unexpected patient care needs. You will maintain clinical performance competencies and complete annual validations.

Compensation

Weekly pay is $2,446.20.
