Telemetry RN Job in Leonardtown, MD

MedStar Saint Marys Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse for its Medical-Surgical Telemetry unit in Leonardtown, MD. This is a 91-day travel assignment beginning June 29, 2026.

Schedule and Pay

• 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each, nights (7:00 PM to 7:30 AM)
• Weekend requirement: 6 shifts in 6 weeks, every other weekend
• Weekly pay: $1,969.92

Role Details

You will care for adult medical-surgical telemetry patients with a typical ratio of 1:5-6. Your responsibilities include telemetry monitoring, accessing and managing ports, BiPAP/CPAP management, blood product administration, central line care, chest tube management, wound care, and general medical-surgical procedures. You will work with patients presenting diagnoses such as diabetes, CHF, infection, sepsis, COPD, and post-operative general surgery cases.

Requirements

• Current RN license (compact or MD)
• Minimum 2 years of Medical-Surgical Telemetry experience
• Completion of at least 1 prior travel assignment
• ACLS and BLS certifications (PALS not required)
• Successful completion of the facility's Relias EKG Rhythm Interpretation Exam with a minimum 80% overall score and 100% on lethal rhythms
• Current flu vaccination with no exemptions

Orientation and Onboarding

You will receive 24 hours of weekly orientation upon arrival. Facility-specific modules must be completed within one week of contract signing.
