Electrophysiology Technician Job in Richmond, VA

Join VCU Medical Center as an Electrophysiology Technician in our busy referral center for complex cardiac patients. You'll work in a 4-room electrophysiology lab handling 6–12 procedures daily, including implants, complex ablations, LAAO, cardioversions, tilt table studies, and TEE procedures.

Your Role

• Circulate and scrub electrophysiology procedures with procedural sedation administration and monitoring
• Care for adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients in a fast-paced environment
• Work late shifts with no call responsibilities; self-scheduling available
• Anesthesia coverage provided for 95% of procedures
• Floating within scope may be required

Required Qualifications

• 2 years of clinical experience; electrophysiology experience preferred
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications
• EPIC charting experience
• Virginia or compact state license in hand at time of application
• Trauma Level I experience preferred
• BSN preferred

Position Details

• 4x10 day shift schedule
• 91-day assignment beginning May 11, 2026
• Weekly pay: $3,024
• Two pre-approved time off requests allowed

• Complete orientation modules on VCU Learning Exchange (approximately 6 hours)
• Natural nail policy enforced
