SLP Job in Marshall, MI

Oaklawn Hospital is seeking a Speech and Language Pathologist (SLP) for a 91-day travel assignment in Marshall, MI. You will provide comprehensive speech, language, and dysphagia services across inpatient and outpatient settings, working 9-hour day shifts at $1,810 weekly. Start date: August 10, 2026.

Your Responsibilities

• Perform patient evaluations and administer treatment for speech, language, and swallowing disorders in both inpatient and outpatient environments
• Conduct bedside swallow studies and provide diet recommendations for inpatient patients
• Perform outpatient videofluoroscopic swallowing studies (VFSS) and speech therapy evaluation and intervention for adult populations
• Design and revise individualized plans of care and patient goals
• Provide written and verbal reports to physicians
• Complete documentation per unit standards and regulatory requirements
• Participate in in-service education, patient care committees, case conferences, and staff meetings
• Work independently and be ready to hit the ground running
• Participate in on-call rotation with rotating weekends for inpatient services (typically once per month)

Requirements

• Master's degree in Speech and Language Pathology
• Current Michigan SLP license
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
• BLS certification (AHA)
• 2+ years of SLP experience
• Pediatric experience required
• VFSS experience required
• Skills checklist current within one year
• At least one supervisory-signed reference from within the past two years of employment
• Own vehicle required for this assignment
