CNA Job in Eagle River, WI

Aspirus Eagle River is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to join their inpatient team on a 91-day travel assignment. You will work 3 shifts per week on a 12-hour night rotation, with 36 guaranteed hours weekly and a pay rate of $1,370 per week.

Your Responsibilities:

• Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, grooming, and toileting
• Obtain and record full sets of vital signs and point-of-care blood glucose monitoring
• Perform Foley catheter care and emptying, bladder scans, and peripheral IV removal
• Empty ostomy pouches and provide 1:1 sitter care as assigned
• Operate all patient lift equipment and assist with ambulation using walkers, gait belts, and drains
• Support patients with chest tubes and respiratory equipment
• Perform occupied bed changes and postmortem care
• Don and doff PPE, attach telemetry leads, and maintain strict intake and output monitoring
• Float as needed to all inpatient units with a typical patient ratio of 1:10 to 1:15 on Medical/Surgical units
• Assist with behavioral health and withdrawal patients

You will care for patients with a wide range of conditions including respiratory illnesses, stroke, neurological and gastrointestinal disorders, diabetic management, renal failure, urinary tract disorders, sepsis, wound care, clotting disorders, infectious disease processes, and acute alcohol withdrawal.

Requirements:

• Current Wisconsin CNA License
• BLS certification (AHA or ARC)
• Minimum 1 year of inpatient experience
• High school diploma
• EPIC charting experience preferred

You must be able to work independently, manage tasks timely, collaborate effectively with team and ancillary staff, and maintain flexibility for shift changes. Every weekend is required, and you will rotate holidays every other cycle. You may also float to other Aspirus locations in the North region including Rhinelander, Tomahawk, and Woodruff. Assignment begins August 17, 2026.
